SG Hambros Bank, part of SG Private Banking, has launched a new bespoke SIPP which will allow clients to invest in a wide range of investment solutions, including private equity funds and structured products.
The choice of mandates includes a full discretionary service or advisory portfolios where the client has the final decision on each investment. Christine Ross, head of financial planning for SG Hambros and Eric Giachardi, pensions manager, will oversee the new product. SG Hambros decided to launch a SIPP now because it was primarily concerned that clients who want to access a full range of investment services, whether onshore or offshore, could do so within their SIPPs.
