Aviva appoints Dromer as chief executive

AVIVA has appointed Alain Dromer as chief executive, Aviva Global Investors and Morley.

He will report to Aviva group chief executive, Andrew Moss, join Aviva’s group executive committee and take up his new role on September 3, 2007. As well as his role at Morley, Alain will develop a global asset management operation, Aviva Global Investors. It will aim to capitalise on strengths of Aviva’s existing asset management businesses. Andrew Moss, group chief executive of Aviva, said: “My priority is for Aviva to realise the full potential of its existing businesses.
