F&C's Scott to take three months leave

Hilary Aldridge and Phil Doel have stepped in to look after F&C's Stewardship Growth and Income portfolios in the absence of lead manager Ted Scott, who is taking three months leave.

Scott will be away from work while he is treated for and recuperates from a condition resulting from a previous skiing injury. Aldridge has worked with Scott on the funds since joining F&C in 2001 and will continue to focus on small and mid cap stocks. Doel, who manages the UK Opportunities fund, will look after the large cap stock selection and contribute to the overall strategy of the two funds.
