Retirement planning tops client requests

FINDINGS from Unbiased.co.uk have revealed that over 280,000 requests for an independent financial adviser were made through Unbiased.co.uk in the first half of 2007.

The Advice Drivers report also showed that at the top of the list of requests were independent financial advice on investments and savings, personal retirement planning and mortgages. While the level of demand for advice on specific product areas remained constant over the first six months of the year, demand for advice on savings and investment products increased to 25pc, up from 23pc at the start of the year.
