BARING Emerging Europe (BEE) has entered the FTSE 250 as manager Martin Majdaniuk marks his one-year anniversary at the fund's helm.
BEE targets long-term capital growth, principally through investment in emerging European securities. Majdaniuk said: "This is a very exciting step forward for BEE and highlights the strong performance of the fund. "The outlook for emerging Europe remains positive. In particular, Russian companies are showing robust characteristics and we expect the Russian ruble to appreciate further and for energy and commodity prices to remain high.
