7IM and Sarasin go ethical

7IM has launched its long-awaited Ethical fund under its OEIC umbrella in conjunction with specialist investment firm Sarasin Chiswell.

The core of the offering is managed by Sarasin’s team – led by Henry Boucher – with a smaller proportion operated as an overlay by 7IM’s CIO Ros Price and her team. Within the Ethical OEIC there is a mix of three portfolios, with equity and fixed interest segments accounting for between 85-90pc and managed by Sarasin, and the remainder run by 7IM. There will be a 50/50 split between equity and fixed income in the portfolio to provide a balanced profile. It is benchmarked against the FT All Share and the FT All Stocks indices equally.
