IFAS have reacted with disappointment to the departure of Nick Scott from managing the £235m M&G Asian fund.
He will be replaced on the fund by deputy fund manager Neil MacKay until a permanent replacement is found. Scott has resigned after 13 years with the Prudential Group to pursue opportunities outside the group. He will leave the group shortly. Scott is employed by Prudential Asset Management (Hong Kong) which has the mandate to run the M&G Asian fund. As a result, he is not an M&G employee and does not report to the M&G equity team.
