Firms 'failing' to educate employees on pensions

The survey found that 98.6pc of businesses are failing to measure the benefits, in terms of employee and corporate performance, stemming from their pension contributions. A discrepancy between what companies believe they communicate to their staff about their pensions and what information staff say they receive was also revealed. Just 1.4pc of companies were found to be effectively measuring the value of workplace pensions as a tool for recruiting and retaining staff.
