CS poaches Jordan from Close

CREDIT Suisse has poached Close Investments' Special Situations fund manager Justin Jordan as part of a move to strengthen its UK equity team.

Jordan, who has run the Special Situations fund since its launch in May last year at Close, has been hired as a director and portfolio manager on the UK equity desk at Credit Suisse. He will report to Crispin Finn, co-head of UK equities, and in his new role will take on Finn’s responsibilities for managing institutional small cap mandates, freeing Crispin to focus on managing mid and large caps. In a further development Stuart Harris, currently UK equity portfolio manager and head of the Credit Suisse Smaller Companies fund, is moving internally to join the company’s emerging markets...
