Investec Asset Management has launched a Global Emerging Markets Debt fund.
The fund, managed by Peter Eerdmans, invests across a range of countries including Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Indonesia, Egypt, Nigeria and Russia. Though the fund has only now been made available to the UK retail market, it has a nine month track record. According to Investec, over that period to April 30th it has returned 20.67pc, which the firm said would rank it second in the IMA Global Bond sector.
