Fund managers don't disclose SRI exposure

THREE quarters of the fund managers questioned in a FairPensions survey revealed that they do not publicly disclose any policies relating to environmental and social issues.

The finding, from the Fund Manager Transparency and Engagement Survey, which covered the top 20 fund managers in the UK, discredits the fact that many of the companies analysed have implemented transparent corporate responsibility policies. Executive director at FairPensions, Alex van der Velden, commented: "Investors need to know how fund managers are responding to the financial risks associated with such important issues as climate change and human rights.
