EPIC UK fund through £50m barrier

EEA Fund Management's CF EPIC UK Equity fund has passed a milestone after acquiring £50m assets under management.

The fund, headed up by Simon Shaw and Jonathan Fieldsend, has seen increasing inflows thanks to its performance compared to peers in the IMA UK All Companies sector. It has been chasing performance by switching out of mid cap stocks and moving into the large cap arena, and the managers believe the change has bolstered performance. Fieldsend explained the larger stocks in the FTSE had a much more attractive rating than mid caps at present because the later were overvalued.
