Barclays launches trio of ETFs

BARCLAYS Global Investors has expanded its iShares range after adding three new exchange traded funds (ETFs).

The new ETFs invest in a range of asset classes, including water, private equity and UK property. Jennifer Grancio, head of distribution for iShares Europe, said the new products had been launched after assets in the European ETF market grew by 50pc in the past year. She added: “Each new ETF has special characteristics making them highly attractive to a broad range of investors, and they provide investors with an easy way to invest in traditionally difficult to access asset classes.” The ETFs are the iShares S&P Global Water fund, the iShares S&P Listed Private Equity fund and the ...
