Invesco makes Strategic Income available to retail market

INVESCO Perpetual has launched a retail share class for Mark Barnett's Strategic Income fund.

Previously the fund was available only to investors with £250,000, but four new share classes, income and accumulation, both with and without trail options, will allow ISA and PEP investors access to the portfolio. The fund, originally made available to non-institutional high net worth investors last August but with a track record stretching back to 1999, has marginally lagged its sector, IMA UK Equity Income, and index, FTSE All Share, over a year. It returned 20.3pc against 21pc for the sector and 21.4pc for the index (bid-to-bid, according to Lipper, 363 days, 31.05.06 to 29.05.07) ...
