Skandia confirms multi-fund UK launch plans

SKANDIA Investment Group has confirmed that it is considering the launch of a number of Dublin-based funds into the UK market.

As reported in Professional Adviser last week, SIG intends to launch between 4 and 7 funds from Skandia Global Funds (SGF) which is Skandia's Dublin-based fund management company, subject to regulatory requirements. The launch of SIG last year enables Skandia's innovative investment solutions to be 'transported' between different markets. It has already announced plans to export the hugely successful Best Ideas concept to the European market with the launch of a European Best Ideas fund, and this strategic plan to launch SGF funds in the UK is the next step in SIG's development.
