NU signs up to The Exchange

NORWICH Union has recruited the services of The Exchange, supplier of ecommerce solutions to advisers, signing up to its real-time annuity quotation system.

The service is available through Exweb's quotation system and includes rates for lifestyle annuities. So far four providers have signed up to the system – Canada Life, Just Retirement, Legal & General and Norwich Union – with more expected to join in coming months. Head of annuities at Norwich Union, Scott Brown, said: “Joining the Exchange’s real time system supports our overall business strategy to move towards a stronger e-commerce offering – especially as online capabilities are of growing interest in the annuity market.” Brown claims that this new functionality promotes time e...
