Williams confirmed as new Cofunds chief

Skandia has confirmed that Brett Williams will leave to take up the position of chief executive at Cofunds.

Williams was founding CEO of Selestia and head of Skandia's wealth management programme. He will succeed Charlie Eppinger, current CEO and chairman at Cofunds, and is expected to start his new role before the end of the year. Williams took over at Selestia and Skandia Multi Funds following Old Mutual's acquisition of Skandia in 2005. The role saw him oversee the integration of the Selestia and Skandia platforms and he assumed responsibility for Skandia Life and Pensions and all UK distribution.
