FundsNetwork ISA sales up 37pc

ISA sales through FundsNetwork have risen 37pc so far this year, the platform has revealed.

The fund supermarket said the increase supported a recent IMA finding that online business through platforms was the main channel for sales of the accounts. The platform has also published the ten most popular fund sectors this year. UK Equity Income takes the top spot as investors move to defensive areas. The Specialist sector was second, within which property funds are likely to have been the driving force.
