Invesco to expand Asian equities team

Invesco Perpetual has confirmed it is awaiting FSA approval for the appointment of Tim Dickson as fund manager within its Asian equities team.

Dickson, who will report to Stuart Parks, head of Asian equities, joins from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP), where he was investment director for the GEM and Asian desk and was portfolio manager for a number of Asia (ex Japan) funds. Parks commented: "I am extremely pleased with this appointment. Tim has a strong investment background and his extensive knowledge of Asian markets will further strengthen our existing team and enhance our ability to continue to generate strong long term investment returns for our clients."
