Woodford tops FundsNetwork rankings

NEIL Woodford's Invesco Perpetual High Income was the best selling fund and the specialist category the most popular sector in Fidelity's rankings for sales through FundsNetwork for the first half of 2007.

UK equity income made up the second best selling category for the period to end of June. Woodford also held second position in the fund rankings with Invesco Perpetual Income, while his Monthly Income Plus was also placed in the top 10. Jupiter’s Income trust and Merlin Income Portfolio and Artemis Income also figured highly. Property funds were also popular, including vehicles from Norwich Union, New Star and Standard Life all in the top 10.
