Invesco launches US equity fund

INVESCO Perpetual will launch a US equity fund seeking to outperform the S&P 500 index on 9 July.

US Equity Benchmark Plus will aim to beat the index by 2.5pc over a market cycle, typically between three and five years. Invesco said the specific target, along with a 4pc tracking error per annum, should provide opportunities to maximise investor returns through the leverage of certain stocks within the index.
