Schroder fund hits £200m in under two years

THE Schroder Income Maximiser has reached over £200m under management, less than two years since its November 2005 launch.

The fund, managed by Richard Lloyd, is an actively managed fund targeting a 7pc yield, through a portfolio of higher yielding UK large cap stocks, combined with a covered call option overlay strategy to enhance the yield. It delivered 7.4pc income in its first year and is on track to deliver its target yield again, in its second year. Since launch, it has delivered a 21.98pc total return for investors.
