SKANDIA has created a new business consultancy aimed at helping financial advisers who are looking to move their business model away from stand alone product sales towards holistic financial planning.

The creation of the new service is a response to the changing nature of the advisory market, where consumers are increasingly looking for ongoing financial advice that evolves with their changing lifestyle and requirements. The FSA has also issued clear guidance that advisers must offer an ongoing service if they are going to be remunerated via trail commission.
