The Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and Venture Capital Trust (VCT) sectors have been notable beneficiaries of changes to the pension rules and the most recent tax year, 2017/18, was no exception. Fundraising levels remained high and government support for the legislation saw increasing numbers of new advisers and their clients looking at and investing in the tax-efficient space.
