In this week's Investment Influencers video interview, profiling the most respected individuals who select funds, decide ratings or otherwise influence the allocation of investor fund flows, we chat to James Klempster.
Klempster is the firm's head of investment management, in which role he leads the strategy for Momentum's global multi-asset solutions. He also sits on the firm's Investment Strategy Group and is responsible for the manager selection process across a number of asset classes.
Klempster, who has an MA in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford and is a CFA Charterholder, joined Momentum in 2007, following previous roles at NW Brown and Avebury Asset Management.
The Investment Influencers series, which has most recently featured David Coombs of Rathbones, Bill McQuaker of Fidelity and Oren Kaplan of SharingAlpha, offers insights into how key players in the asset management sector see the world of investing and expect to deal with such challenges as greater market volatility, increased regulation and a growing trend towards short-termism.
