The implementation of technology in the field of wealth management and financial planning is set to transform the industry, according to the speakers at a recent Professional Adviser seminar.

Technology will help advisers and planners reach a younger, more connected demographic whose wealth levels have previously precluded them from seeking more personalised advice, delegates heard.  The confluence of technology, connectedness and the willingness of the consumer to move to remote relationships with the financial providers has changed the financial planning landscape in just a few short years suggested Mark Loosmore, executive general manager (wealth) at IRESS.
