Advisers who use a wrap platform can often be almost messianic about its power to transform they way they do business. Ten years after they were first launched, around £85bn is now managed via platforms, an amount that is set to increase to £100bn this year. In 2010 the wrap market, which – like many based on new technology – has evolved beyond recognition.
