I am 59 years old and in the process of selling my 70-client financial planning business to a consolidator. This is what I've learnt so far.  If this were Instagram, I would be starting this with POV: you came to financial planning late in life but now it's your passion.  When poor eyesight put paid to my dreams of becoming a Fleet Air Arm pilot I was dejected and lost all interest in school.
