Former St James’s Place (SJP) duo Claire Blackwell and John Owen have launched a support service for financial advice firms.

Ex SJP chief client officer Blackwell and director Owen have together launched The NexStage, an independent advisory support firm aiming to help UK advice firms "scale sustainably, protect client outcomes, strengthen governance, and create real succession pathways". The NexStage is also curating a specialist bench - The NexStage Collective - which aims to assemble "proven independent experts" with specialist skills in compliance, risk, structuring, or tax as examples, for "on-demand and cost-effective" work for clients.
