Adams is the founder of adviser firm Niche IFA, cashflow planning software provider CashCalc and adviser directory AdviserBook, each based in Newport in south Wales.  Adams made the decision to ask his staff to work from home a week before Boris Johnson announced all those who could work from home, should. As a keen skier, The adviser had been following news of how the virus had affected France, and believed a similar outcome was likely in the UK.
