AIFA creates task force for 21st century advisers

AIFA has created a task force to develop a vision for professional financial advice in the 21st century.

The group met for the first time yesterday and are working toward a ‘manifesto for advice’, expected to be launched in October or November. The association says leading figures from national firms and networks, support services, financial planners and small and large IFA firms are represented in the group. AIFA says the purpose of the task force is to develop a clear statement on the role and value of financial advice, and to determine where the financial advice profession adds tangible economic and social value.
