Tenet appoints ex Tory chairman

IFA group Tenet has appointed Lord Hodgson, a former Conservative chairman, as its non-executive chairman.

Lord Hodgson previously held the chairman role for the Conservative Party from 1997 to 2000 and became a life peer that year. He held the role of front bench spokesman on trade and industry from 2003 to 2006. During the 1980s he worked as director of The Securities and Investment Board (SIB) and director of The Securities and Futures Authority (SFA). He also worked as a chairman of SFA’s finance and audit committee and deputy chairman of its enforcement committee. In 1979 he established investment bank Granville, which he sold to Robert W.
