Mick Hicks is stepping down as chief executive of Scottish Life International, and is being replaced by David Kneeshaw, Royal London's group business development director.
Early indications from SLI are the offshore life company is now assessing the "synergy" between Scottish Life's pensions business and SLI's offshore products, to establish whether the "blurring" of pre and post-retirement investment options allows closer connections between the two. Kneeshaw will be responsible for a company with assets under management of US$1.1bn and will report to Brian Duffin, chief executive of Royal London's intermediary businesses.IFAonline
