Asian markets now offer better prospects than Japan in investment terms, according to fund managers Lombard Odier. Benoit Descortieux, head of Asian investments at Lombard Odier, said: "There are major differences between Asia and Japan. The latter's demographic problems are well-documented, and in our view the aging society there affects the potential for returns looking forward.
