Baillie Gifford has merged its UK Smaller Companies and British Smaller Companies funds as a result of a change in investment strategy in late 2002, whereby approximately 70% of the stocks held were common to both portfolios. There will be no initial or switching charge made on the issue of new British Smaller Companies fund shares.
