Now that we have seen all six consultation briefs on stakeholder pensions it is possible to form some tentative conclusions about how each of the main areas of private pension provision are likely to be affected. When we see the draft regulations around the turn of the year, it should be possible to start drawing firm conclusions as to the impact of stakeholder, as I understand the Government intends only to correct technical errors in the drafts and not to alter policy.
