The UK Balanced Property Trust, managed by Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, is to issue shares to fund the acquisition of a portfolio of properties. The inclusion of the acquisition, valued at £110m, would reduce the trust's retail weighting from 53.2% to 52.4% and its office weighting from 31.8% to 25.6%. The industrial weighting would be increased from 15% to 22%. The new shares are expected to be issued in early March. Further information on 0131 655 8670.
