International healthcare insurance provider, ExpaCare, has launched Choices - a new international plan for small groups.
This latest product has been designed specifically for small groups with between five to 29 employees. The plan offers flexible benefits which can be built on a modular basis. Expacare explains that Choices consists of a fixed core module, to which additional optional benefits can be added, allowing each policyholder to select the cover that best suits their needs.
Choices’ core plan offers policyholders inpatient treatment, emergency medical evacuation and outpatient surgery, amongst other benefits. When it comes to bringing in additional cover, there are three levels of cover for cancer treatment and chronic care; four of out-patient options which range from no cover to a full refund option as well as further options of maternity, dental, wellness benefit and optical cover.
ExpaCare stresses that as with all of its other policies, cover in the Choices’ plans is still offered on a medical history disregarded basis and there are no restrictions made as to which medical facilities policyholders’ attend.
Beverly Cook, Managing Director, says, "The market for small group international private medical insurance is rapidly changing and to reflect this and following feedback from our brokers and clients, we are delighted to announce this new product. Most importantly, we have created a product that has a good choice of benefits and options and is straightforward and uncomplicated."
