Fund administrator Vistra has announced the opening of its new operation in Hong Kong, Vistra Fund Services Asia.
The move was prompted by what Vistra describes as rapid growth and acquisitions in this region by clients of its Jersey and Luxembourg offices.
In a strategic move to broaden its operations, the new office allows Vistra to offer specific fund services tailored for the particular requirements of the Hong Kong and Asian markets.
The Hong Kong team is led by Charles Kwun who has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, covering banking, insurance, pension and fund administration, asset management, trust and custody services. Also on the team is Andrew Mascall-Robson, Executive Director, who has 20 years experience of working in Asia within fund services and investment banking. Shirley Yuen who takes up the position of Executive Director, Relationship Management. She, too, has many years’ experience working in CPA firms and financial institutions in Hong Kong. The fourth member is Fang Ling Khor, Director, who has been working in audit, accounting and fund administration services for the last 15 years.
Vistra’s range of services covers fund administration services with a major focus on alternative investment sectors including hedge funds, real estate, private equity, venture capital and alternative assets. It uses the Advent Geneva system platform which, it says, is generally regarded as the Gold standard in the industry.
