The Federation of European IFAs (FEIFA), a non-profit trade association for English-speaking IFAs, has an announced an exclusive partnership with social network IFA Life.
European IFAs will be able to network with British advisers via the link up. IFA Life has recently launched a ‘Europe' forum to cater for the new users.
FEIFA chief executive Paul Stanfield (pictured) said the Federation had seen increasing interest from UK-based IFAs.
"The deal makes sense for us, because plenty of UK advisers are thinking about becoming expats, or are trying to expand their business into mainland Europe", he said.
IFA Life founder Phil Calvert said he was "amazed" at how readily users share information.
"Clearly many of the issues faced by IFAs in the UK are also important to FEIFA members, so the ability for IFAs in the UK and throughout Europe to network and share best practice will be hugely beneficial for everyone.
"We are delighted that FEIFA members will be joining and using the IFA Life website."
FEIFA, represents more than 300 advisers operating in 25 European countries, advising on over €2.5 billion assets.
Around 6,000 IFAs and paraplanners regularly use IFA Life.
