Schroders CIO joins IMA board in trade body reshuffle

Schroders CIO Alan Brown has joined the IMA board following a number of changes at the trade association.

Former chairman of Insight Investment Management Douglas Ferrans has this month taken over as IMA chairman from Robert Jenkins, while Invesco Perpetual CIO Bob Yerbury has assumed the deputy chairman position. Jenkins has left the UK to take up the role of CEO and managing partner of Combinatorics Capital, a New York-based global macro hedge fund manager. "As the UK investment management industry continues to grow in size and importance, I look forward to working with members, stakeholders and IMA staff to maintain the solid progress we have made over the past few years," Ferrans says...
