Friends Provident International has agreed to distribute its single premium insurance bond, Global Portfolio, through Australia New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) in Singapore.
With the aim of expanding and diversifying its global distribution model in Asia, the agreement will allow FPI to provide more clients with a sophisticated wealth management solution.
Benefits of the Global Portfolio include:
- The ability to build a flexible, tailored portfolio aligned with a client's risk appetite
- A choice of currencies, asset classes and global fund groups
- An efficient, low cost structure plus tax advantages in some circumstances
"This relationship demonstrates our strategy to expand in Singapore and across the region," says Chris Gill, regional sales director for South East Asia, FPI.
ANZ is one of the largest international banks in the Asia Pacific region with AUD $503bn. FPI has been established in Asia for over 20 years.
