Swiss banking group SYZ & CO has announced a change of manager for its OYSTER World Opportunities fund.
Roberto Magnatantini of Banque SYZ & CO replaces Rajeev Bhaman of Oppenheimer Funds in New York.
Magnatantini was previously manager of the World Equity Opportunities fund at HSBC Private Bank from the time it was launched in 2005.
He also managed the Lombard Odier Europe fund between 2002 and 2004 among others at Banque Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie.
The Luxembourg SICAV comprises 24 funds which form a balanced offering, said SYZ & CO. It is currently registered in Luxembourg, Switzerland, France, Spain, Germany, Austria and Belgium.
Conceived with investment professionals in mind, OYSTER funds are managed actively with a non-benchmarked approach favouring stock picking to generate alpha.
