FundsNetwork takes bonds vs collectives debate on the road

Following on from its report into the relative merits of onshore and offshore bonds and directly held mutual funds (see news item from 27 May ), FundsNetwork is staging a series of regional seminars to bring the debate to an audience of UK-based IFAs.

The report’s author Paul Kennedy, head of trusts and tax planning solutions at FundsNetwork, will discuss the relative tax efficiency of collective investments and insurance bonds. He will be joined by Steve Hutton, Fidelity’s head of IFA sales, who will cover the principles of intelligent asset allocation. The 90-minute seminars are set to take place in nine locations across the UK during the week commencing 30 June.
