KKR MENA, a newly-formed subsidiary of global alternative asset manager Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co has been granted a licence to operate from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Makram Azar, managing director and head of Middle East and North Africa, will lead the subsidiary. Its will pursue private equity and infrastructure transactions in the MENA region and distribute KKR products.

Neuberger Berman Group has completed the purchase of Lehman Brothers Asset Management (Europe) from the Lehman entities in administration.
It will be called Neuberger Berman Europe Ltd and Dik Van Lomwell, former head of distribution at Lehman Brothers Asset Management (Europe) will head NB Europe and Middle East.
