Xalt TV has launched a platform, X-Trustee Services, designed to showcase trust companies from around the world to intermediaries.
The platform is likened to a shop window for professional intermediaries, such as lawyers, accountants and advisers, to view trust companies ahead of face-to-face meetings.
High net worth individuals and financial services professionals can access the opinions of leading finance industry experts on wealth management issues, said the company.
Staff at Investec Trust in Guernsey and Jersey were the first to launch four films on the platform, according to Investec.
It said the films have reached a worldwide audience of potentially 28,000 professionals through the video, newsfeed, training facility and search database website.
Jane Kerins of Investec Trust Guernsey, Robert Clifford, Mark Stenner and Christopher Rebindaine of Investec Trust Jersey, plus Xavier Isaac of Investec Trust Switzerland are featured in a video on the online database, discussing trust matters and Investec’s ethos, structure and business acumen, said the firm.
Kerins said: “This technology represents a quick and easy way for professionals to get a real sense of service providers as they choose who to do business with, as well as keep up with movements in the industry.”
She said Investec Trust’s position as one of the first companies to register in the trustee section was a strategic move that would benefit the business.
