New Star appoints associate director of Greater China

Chan will be responsible for institutional clients and retail fund distribution in Greater China and will be based in New Star’s Hong Kong office. She will report to Francis Leach, director of sales, Asia, also based in Hong Kong. Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, Chan has worked in many areas of the financial services industry, including at HSBC Group, Bank of China International Holdings and, most recently, Credit Agricole Asset Management.
