Carne Global Financial Services has opened offices in the Cayman Islands following a recent licence being granted by the islands' monetary authority.
The independent consultant to the fund, hedge fund and wealth management industries was granted a licence by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority in order to provide directorships, fund establishment assistance plus corporate and oversight services. Following the opening of a Geneva office last year, plus the launch of London-based alternative and wealth management divisions earlier in 2008, the Cayman office is part of Carne's expansion strategy.
