People who claim non-domicile status but live in the UK for more than 10 years, should be forced to pay tax, according to the Liberal Democrats.
He said: “An all-party consensus has emerged that something needs to be done to make non-doms pay their fair share. Our proposal seeks to deal with the abuse of the system, whereby people keep their privileged tax status for many years.”
