Offshore law firm Maples and Calder is to expand its Dubai office by transferring associate Alex Last from the firm's Hong Kong office.
The move to the Dubai office, which opened in August 2005, follows the transfer of associates Philip Ireland from London and Robin Harding from Hong Kong in June 2006.
Maples and Calder was the first offshore law firm to open in Dubai and the first to be approved by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). It is now the largest offshore law firm in Dubai.
